Lots of information on juicing at: http://www.rebootwithjoe.com/
This website has inspiring stories of people that have juiced their way to good health. It also has plenty of juice recipes and tips for healthy living.

Have a look at this website for an amazing lady that looks at least 20 years younger than she really is: http://www.annettelarkins.com/

Have a look at the website of Ms. Mimi Kirk. She is another lady whose looks defy age. Mimi was voted the sexiest vegetarian over 50: http://youngonrawfood.com/

My most common choice of vegetables for juice are listed below:

  1. Kale (this vegetable is at the top of the Dr. Fuhrman’s nutrition list with more than spinach)
  2. Carrots
  3. Celery (this is an excellent vegetable to control your cholesterol levels)
  4. Green Apples
  5. Beetroot (this vegetable helps to clean your liver)
  6. Oranges (Sunkist or Navel oranges)
  7. Tomato juice

Remember to use the proportion 80% vegetables and 20% fruit, otherwise the juice is too sweet. I sometimes add a banana or two to my breakfast juice. I use a blender and mix the juice with bananas. I am too lazy to make the juice each day, so I make a batch every two weeks and freeze the mixture. Freezing is convenient, but fresh is best. Fresh juice gives you the highest nutrient values. I use 1.5 liter water bottles to freeze the juice in. I take out a bottle the night before and defrost it in the kitchen sink so it is ready for my morning drink. remember to shake the bottle before pouring into your glass.

Here is a website where you can watch the documentary “Forks over Knives”.

http://putlocker.tn/forks-over-knives/

This is a documentary about the food we eat.
This movie lays out the inconvenient truth the food industry doesn’t
want you to hear –  that nearly all degenerative disease is actually
caused by the processed, nutrient-depleted food being consumed in
first-world nations around the world.   Most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting our present menu of animal-based and processed foods.

There’s no money in healthy people and there’s no money dead people. That is why the sickness industry makes so much money.
It must be considered an industry because of all the multi-billion-dollar businesses making money from sickness. The solution to our problems is simple. Change our diets.

Over 2,000 years ago Hippocrates said “Let medicine be thy food and let food be thy medicine.”

Below, is the video link sent to me by the former CEO of a leading insurance company in Thailand. It is a channel PBS TV interview of a Dr. Boonchai Isarapisit talking about his success in curing himself of 6 sicknesses. He used to have a 48 inch waist.

1. Overweight 113.5 kilos.
2. Diabetes (294 mg/dl).
3. Hypertension (170/110).
4. Excess of bad Cholesterol and too little of the good Cholesterol.
5. Chronic liver infection (can lead to liver cancer or cirrhosis of the liver).
6. Excess of red blood cells (Polycythemia).

Each of these sicknesses can result in death.
He says that if we eat the right food and take care of our bodies, we should live to 120 years!

He cured himself in 4 months without the use of any medication!

I have a lot of respect for him, he has some very large BALLS with what he says in the interview. He is going against the whole medical establishment, doctors, hospitals and pharmaceutical companies. He says that self-induced sickness (like the ones he had) are are treatable without the need of doctors.
Doctors actually know very little about nutrition. They spend a minimal time of their medical education learning about nutrition and eating habits. He states that 50% of what you eat should be comprised of vegetables and fruit.
Unfortunately, the interview is in Thai….please pass it on to others that may benefit from watching it.

  1. Nice website Eric, with good info. Thanks.
I enjoyed the Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead video. Quite awesome.
Will get round to watching the others in due course.
Just bought a Tefal slow juicer from Central (Phuket). Currently on offer at 6,500 Baht.
Now I must get off my butt and REGULARLY nip out & buy those fruits & veggies.
